What’s Black, White and Red Allover?
No, not the newspaper [duh, everyone knows that nobody reads those old things anymore]. This fun little custom chair I finished for a client last month!
Just when I fear it may have slipped quietly past its prime, my beloved chevron makes an appointment with the colorist, joins Weight Watchers, picks up a hott little sports car, and makes a smoking strong comeback to prove that though it may have been around the block a few times, it WILL.NEVER.DIE. [yay!]. This time, it was in a crisp black and white chevron pattern with a sassy rorange [that Scooby for reddish-orange--do your kids love Scooby Doo the way mine do? I haven't seen this many Scooby cartoons since I was a kid, I think we own every movie/cartoon ever made...] frame–Benjamin Moore’s Vermillion [trust me, the screen does not do this color justice it is simply flaming juicy and divine IRL].
So let’s just have a little Chevron Solidarity Moment, shall we?

And then the lovely gal I whipped this baby up for [*waves* Hi Jane!] sent me a picture of this beauty living in her new home [tell me you are not jealously coveting those floor-to-ceiling windows and that lively downtown city view--and if you aren't then you are lying, because they are awesome]. I snuck in a couple of coordinating black and white chevron pillows with red cord trim as a surprise happy for the lovely new owners. Just because. Doesn’t it all look so modern and funky, yet classic?! I am so snoopy to see the rest of the place!!!
